WHO ARE WE?
Community-VISN is a non-profit organization that serves to assist people in Butte County and in the neighboring Northern Hills communities. In the past our organization has assisted in obtaining funds and gathering volunteers to help with projects that qualifying people would not be able to afford or complete on their own. C-VISN helped those in need by building new homes, remodeling and updating older homes, performing weatherization, and providing career and job training.
Now Community-VISN will expand to be able to provide supportive housing and appropriate supportive services to assist homeless female veterans in the transition from homelessness to successful, independent living. This will be achieved through the Women of War Project.
C-VISN has been awarded the Northern Hills Community Friend Award. We accepted the Northern Hills Community Friend Award on September 22, 2009, at Northern Hills Federal Credit Union in Belle Fourche, SD.
Volunteers are the backbone of our community. JOIN US!
